ITAS

Isolated Teacher Assistance Scheme payments are paid fortnightly in recognition of the locations and increased cost of living for the locations below:

Barcaldine, Blackall, Longreach, Clermont, Emerald, Monto and Springsure as well as Gladstone and Biloela.

Rental Rates

Catholic Education Housing is available for Single and Married Employees at Barcaldine, Blackall, Biloela, Clermont, Emerald, Longreach, Monto and Springsure.

Rental Subsidy

Self-sourced alternative accommodation can be arranged and attracts a rental subsidy option (eligibility criteria applies) at Barcaldine, Blackall, Biloela, Clermont, Emerald, Longreach, Monto and Springsure.

Teacher Relocation Reimbursement

Eligible Teacher will be funded up to a Maximum of $3000 for removal costs of furniture and effects.

Priority Transfers

We recognise the commitment of remote service. Priority transfers are available when a full-time primary teacher (with a continuing position) completes at least 2 years’ service in a remote location to your preferred region.
